Seating: 1840, VIP seats: 137) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Luis Hädicke took the kick off in the first half of the match. Thomas Scharfenberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marcus Isaksson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After having played for 4 minutes, Daniel Mach managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Französisch Buchholz FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Daniel Mach was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 5th minute, Französisch Buchholz FC's Marcus Isaksson dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. Thomas Scharfenberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marcus Isaksson in the 9th minute of play. 10 minutes into the match, 1. FC Thiemheim's goalkeeper Thomas Scharfenberg had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Bruno Kreisinger. After 10 played minutes 1. FC Thiemheim got a freekick which was hit by Ray Dückert. In the 13th match minute, Französisch Buchholz FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marcus Isaksson to maneuver through the defense. 1. FC Thiemheim's defense didn't have a chance, in the 16th minute, when Marcus Isaksson scored to the left of an out of position Thomas Scharfenberg, making the score, 2-0. After some careless play in the 1. FC Thiemheim defense, Armin Stöckl kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Thomas Scharfenberg. The 1. FC Thiemheim fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Thomas Scharfenberg should have stopped the shot. Maiko Kottsieper fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Thomas Scharfenberg having to interfere. Thomas Scharfenberg made an important save on a dangerous shot by Bruno Kreisinger in the 24th minute. In the 33rd minute Renatas Uogintas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Thomas Scharfenberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 1. FC Thiemheim's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Marcus Isaksson was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 6-0. After 44 minutes of play, Französisch Buchholz FC's Maiko Kottsieper made it 7-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Thomas Scharfenberg was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 47th minute, Französisch Buchholz FC's Maiko Kottsieper ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Thomas Scharfenberg. Thomas Scharfenberg yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 8-0. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Marcus Isaksson to make the kick off. In the 52nd minute, Bruno Kreisinger left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Französisch Buchholz FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 9-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marcus Isaksson in the 55th minute of play forced 1. FC Thiemheim's goalkeeper Thomas Scharfenberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Französisch Buchholz FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Renatas Uogintas in the 58th minute. A nice corner shot did that Renatas Uogintas got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Thomas Scharfenberg quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Renatas Uogintas succeeded in the game's 58th minute to get real power on a long shot . 1. FC Thiemheim's Thomas Scharfenberg hadn't the time to block the shot which was pasted into the goal, 10-0! 61 minutes into the match, Maiko Kottsieper had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Thomas Scharfenberg. 1. FC Thiemheim's goal looked a bit too open when Marcus Isaksson came free, but Thomas Scharfenberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 69 minutes of play, Französisch Buchholz FC's Renatas Uogintas made it 12-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Thomas Scharfenberg was left in no man's land by his defense there! After 74 minutes of play, Französisch Buchholz FC's Bruno Kreisinger made it 13-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Thomas Scharfenberg was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 77th minute, Bruno Kreisinger ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Thomas Scharfenberg was frozen by the shot and now it was 14-0. Thomas Scharfenberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marcus Isaksson, who was totally free with the ball in the 79th minute. After some careless play in the 1. FC Thiemheim defense, Marcus Isaksson kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Thomas Scharfenberg. The 1. FC Thiemheim fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Thomas Scharfenberg should have stopped the shot. With a little luck, Französisch Buchholz FC's Heimko Geisen got control of the ball when Hugo Höfer tried to sneak it across the goal line. Thomas Scharfenberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marcus Isaksson, who was totally free with the ball in the 89th minute. Thomas Scharfenberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bruno Kreisinger in the 90th minute of play. 91 minutes into the game, Französisch Buchholz FC's Daniel Mach nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Thomas Scharfenberg made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 17-0. When Luis Hädicke came up free with the goalie in the 97th minute, the 1. FC Thiemheim fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Luis Hädicke couldn't finish the play. Französisch Buchholz FC's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
