Spectators: 7500 (Terracing: 5625, Seating: 1725, VIP seats: 150) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Oskar Breuer took the kick off in the first half of the match. Hanjo Frenzle charged in rather forcefully in the 6th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Hanjo Frenzle the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Kraftsdorf's Hanjo Frenzle got a free kick in the 6th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Kraftsdorf's zone, Faudel Houllier stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Till Augustin came out of the goal and Faudel Houllier tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 9th match minute, Kraftsdorf was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dieter Otten to maneuver through the defense. Faudel Houllier might have been able to make a better finish in the 18th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Till Augustin. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Faudel Houllier ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 24th minute, Fortuna Dresden FC's Faudel Houllier ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Till Augustin. Till Augustin yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Oskar Breuer in the 28th minute of play forced Fortuna Dresden FC's goalkeeper Benjamin Franke to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 29th minute Jakob Berns shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Benjamin Franke saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Balan Gonzáles had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Benjamin Franke showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Oskar Breuer, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. Dieter Otten kicked well hit freekick during the 38th minute of the match. A hard shot by Balan Gonzáles from long distance, 38 minutes into the match, got Till Augustin's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Tomáš Bacho's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 44thth minute, Till Augustin skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

Kraftsdorf's Till Augustin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Faudel Houllier in the 51st minute of play. With 53 minutes on the clock, Gereon Termath commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. The referee gave Fortuna Dresden FC a penalty, 54 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Balan Gonzáles, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Kraftsdorf's Till Augustin. 2-0. Balan Gonzáles received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. Till Augustin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Tomáš Bacho in the 68th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Till Augustin prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 71st minute Faudel Houllier shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Till Augustin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Tomáš Bacho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 74th minute, Faudel Houllier left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Fortuna Dresden FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. In the 78th minute, Hanjo Frenzle had to be helped off the field due to a pulled leg muscle. After 78 minutes, Delf Engelmeier mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Fortuna Dresden FC and the Kraftsdorf players grew even worse after the yellow card. After having played for 80 minutes, Ludwig Kuckhoff managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Kraftsdorf's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ludwig Kuckhoff was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Tomáš Bacho recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 82nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 85th minute Faudel Houllier shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Till Augustin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Faudel Houllier fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Till Augustin having to interfere. Kraftsdorf's Till Augustin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Faudel Houllier in the 91st minute of play. Dieter Otten's late challenge caught a Fortuna Dresden FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Dieter Otten helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Kraftsdorf getting a freekick after 97 minutes play. Dieter Otten hit a great ball. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Fortuna Dresden FC fully deserved thier win.
