An unexpectedly hard shot by Liam Czerwinsky in the 7th minute of play forced Rodenhof FSV's goalkeeper Livio Göger to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Livio Göger came out of the goal in the 9th minute to try and stop a shot by Blau–Weiß Pinneberg 05's Liam Czerwinsky. But to his dismay, Liam Czerwinsky quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. After 14 minutes of play, Blau–Weiß Pinneberg 05's Erich Wolf made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Livio Göger was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 16th minute, Palle Höfgen hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Rodenhof FSV's Livio Göger played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Liam Czerwinsky in the 18th minute of play. In the 19th minute Erich Wolf shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Livio Göger saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 20 minutes, Börje Gerlinger mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Rodenhof FSV and the Blau–Weiß Pinneberg 05 players grew even worse after the yellow card. Liam Czerwinsky got in the 32nd a clear chance and fired away a hard shot against goal, but Livio Göger handled the situation perfectly and made a save by the crossbar. After 34 played minutes Rodenhof FSV got a freekick which was hit by Arvid Butenweg. In the 37th minute, Erich Wolf left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Blau–Weiß Pinneberg 05 fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-4. 40 minutes into the match, Rodenhof FSV's goal looked a bit too open when Liam Czerwinsky came free, but Livio Göger reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 44th minute, Ray Peuckert reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Birger Goll. The goal made the score 1-4. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-4 lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ray Peuckert to strike the kick off in the second half. A collision led to Rodenhof FSV getting a freekick after 90 minutes play. Ray Peuckert hit a great ball. When the final whistle sounded Blau–Weiß Pinneberg 05 left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Rodenhof FSV.
