Benjamin Engel thought of kicking away a contribution in front of goal but messed it up so badly that the ball went to the right of an astonished Bodo Haas, a very annoying self made goal in the 20th minute which led to 0-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gilbert Kojder in the 23rd minute of play forced Rangsdorf's goalkeeper Bodo Haas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Rangsdorf getting a freekick after 24 minutes play. Fodil Rimitti hit a great ball. Bodo Haas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pawel Reiners in the 25th minute of play. Axel Groth took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lenílson Netto, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After having played for 47 minutes, Lenílson Netto managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Rangsdorf's supporters crossed their fingers, but Lenílson Netto was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The Rangsdorf players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. FC Wachdendonk were winning 1-2.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Lenílson Netto to make the kick off. Ignacy Lemiesz ran over to the corner to take the kick. 81 minutes into the match, Rangsdorf's goal looked a bit too open when Pawel Reiners came free, but Bodo Haas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A sloppy throw-in by Abdelaziz Hergt in the 84th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by FC Wachdendonk's Ignacy Lemiesz. In the 85thth minute of the game Lenílson Netto who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FC Wachdendonk's Axel Groth was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When Lenílson Netto came up free with the goalie in the 91st minute, the Rangsdorf fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Lenílson Netto couldn't finish the play. The audience was convinced that Lenílson Netto's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Axel Groth was relentless in the 93rd minute of the game. When Rangsdorf's Lenílson Netto in the 95th minute got a chance for a shot 95th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. FC Wachdendonk had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
