When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Joachim Bleck made a kick off. In the 52nd match minute, Wichenhausen FSV was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Philipp Pethe to maneuver through the defense. In the 55th minute, Ephraim Matetzki fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. In the 61st minute Björn Berndt shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alban Büchner saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a little luck, SC Weser Kickers's Albrecht Kamp got control of the ball when Ephraim Matetzki tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 72 played minutes Wichenhausen FSV got a freekick which was hit by Yannik Laux. Alban Büchner showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Joachim Bleck, who was totally free with the ball in the 80th minute. After having played for 86 minutes, Joachim Bleck managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. SC Weser Kickers's supporters crossed their fingers, but Joachim Bleck was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a rather tough play, Wichenhausen FSV's Saverio Silbestre got a free kick in the 95th minute. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
