Spectators: 8504 (Terracing: 6378, Seating: 1956, VIP seats: 170) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Conrad Furesi started the match with the kick off. In the 3rd minute Todor Vaskov shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Herminio Iztal saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 5 minutes into the game, Gerald Kröger cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Pontus Blom was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 9th minute, Odeweg FSV's Walter Klingemann seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Walter Klingemann the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Odeweg FSV protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Walter Klingemann had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. 8 minutes into the game, one of Odeweg FSV:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. In the 11thth minute of the game Alvise Castellani who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Odeweg FSV's Herminio Iztal was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Pontus Blom showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gerald Kröger in the 12th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Odeweg FSV's Conny Plomp got a free kick in the 13th minute. Leif-Eric Mehlbaum recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 14th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Eckehard Deckert hit a great freekick 16 minutes into the match. Hendrik Jung charged in rather forcefully in the 19th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Hendrik Jung the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Hendrik Jung hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. The referee showed Claus Holsing the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to FC Midgard getting a freekick after 23 minutes play. Claus Holsing hit a great ball. FC Midgard's Pontus Blom played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gerald Kröger in the 26th minute of play. Pontus Blom made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nico Gudd in the 31st minute of play. Pontus Blom took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nico Gudd, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Pontus Blom showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Conrad Furesi in the 34th minute of the match. 34 minutes into the match, Conrad Furesi notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of FC Midgard's Pontus Blom. Pontus Blom was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Conny Plomp kicked well hit freekick during the 39th minute of the match. FC Midgard's Pontus Blom played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Conrad Furesi in the 43rd minute of play. Odeweg FSV were awarded a corner in the 44th minute after FC Midgard's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Nico Gudd took the corner. In the 45th minute Odeweg FSV were awarded a corner. Nico Gudd went to the cornerflag to take it. A very nice done corner allowed Edward Kalnik to score against Pontus Blom in FC Midgard's goal. 0-3 after 46 minutes.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Eugen Schwarze stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Through an outstanding action, after 51 minutes, Pontus Blom successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Alvise Castellani kicked well hit freekick during the 52nd minute of the match. Pontus Blom took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Conrad Furesi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 56th minute the ball was on its way in behind Odeweg FSV's goalkeeper Herminio Iztal, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 57th match minute, FC Midgard was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jurek Schumacher to maneuver through the defense. Nico Gudd's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Pontus Blom read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 58th minute of play. In the 62nd minute of the match, Nico Gudd tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Pontus Blom saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. The crowd rose to their feet as Odeweg FSV's Nico Gudd slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Pontus Blom. That made the score 0-4 after 66 minutes of play. FC Midgard's Harald Potulski was substituted for Alvise Castellani. Pontus Blom came out of the goal in the 71st minute to try and stop a shot by Odeweg FSV's Nico Gudd. But to his dismay, Nico Gudd quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-5. 77 minutes into the match, FC Midgard's goal looked a bit too open when Edward Kalnik came free, but Pontus Blom reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Klaus Urban kicked well hit freekick during the 83rd minute of the match. After some careless play in the FC Midgard defense, Nico Gudd kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Pontus Blom. The FC Midgard fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Pontus Blom should have stopped the shot. When Fredy Brusberg fell near the penalty area in the 93rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Odeweg FSV's protests and gave Fredy Brusberg a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Odeweg FSV getting a freekick after 93 minutes play. Fredy Brusberg hit a great ball. When the final whistle sounded Odeweg FSV left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than FC Midgard.
