The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 6th minute Heiko Kuhlins shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcinho Secco saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Chris Schnorre hit a great freekick 9 minutes into the match. The supporters of FC WOUDOO booed when Schwedelbach was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Heiko Kuhlins didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ehrhard Bretzel's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Estebe Alvaro read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 17th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 22nd minute, Heiko Kuhlins managed to get in a good position for a shot. Schwedelbach's supporters rose to their feet, but Heiko Kuhlins was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Marcinho Secco breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 26 played minutes FC WOUDOO got a freekick which was hit by Horst Pfeifer. Estebe Alvaro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Epifanio Marin in the 29th minute of the match. In the 31st minute FC WOUDOO were awarded a corner. Pankraz Keßler went to the cornerflag to take it. 35 minutes into the match, FC WOUDOO's goal looked a bit too open when Heiko Kuhlins came free, but Marcinho Secco reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 37th minute, Chris Schnorre got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 41st minute, Boris Meier made a precise shot to the right of Marcinho Secco. FC WOUDOO's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Epifanio Marin to strike the kick off in the second half. The supporters of Schwedelbach booed when FC WOUDOO was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 51 match minutes in a wonderful position. Horst Pfeifer didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 94th minute, Ehrhard Bretzel ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Estebe Alvaro was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2.
