The audience thought a goal was coming when Mike Pressel got free with Estebe Alvaro in the 8th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Tağı Cabbarov hit a great freekick 9 minutes into the match. Christof Drengenburg succeeded in the game's 13th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 1-0. Schwedelbach's Estebe Alvaro proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 22nd minute of the match, managed to save Schwedelbach from getting a goal against them. In the 24th minute, Schwedelbach's Markus Hammel seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Markus Hammel the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Schwedelbach protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Markus Hammel had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. Markus Hammel kicked well hit freekick during the 25th minute of the match. SC Wacker 04 e.V. Ulf Erhardt charged in rather forcefully in the 48th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ulf Erhardt the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 49 played minutes SC Wacker 04 e.V. Berlin got a freekick which was hit by Ulf Erhardt. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

After a rather tough play, SC Wacker 04 e.V. Berlin's Norbert Gill got a free kick in the 52nd minute. If Christof Drengenburg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. Estebe Alvaro dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-0. Estebe Alvaro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Norbert Gill in the 75th minute of play. Schwedelbach's Estebe Alvaro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mike Pressel in the 77th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Mike Pressel's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Estebe Alvaro was relentless in the 78th minute of the game. When Gregor Schachtschober fell near the penalty area in the 78th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. Berlin fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 5-0. When SC Wacker 04 e.V.
