He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in FC Schonebeck reached it. Lance Malliouris showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Linus Scholtz in the 10th minute of the match. After 11 played minutes FC Schonebeck got a freekick which was hit by Boris Spengler. In the 12th minute of the match Hubertus Burger sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Lance Malliouris skillfully saved the ball. After a rather tough play, FC Schonebeck's Boris Spengler got a free kick in the 12th minute. Emürspor's Ubelteso Fontiveros played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jean Carl Ba Loua in the 21st minute of play. When FC Schonebeck's Michael Laudrup in the 27th minute got a chance for a shot 27th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Emürspor's goalie prevented a goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Carmine Anastasi in the 30th managed to get into a good position. In the 33rd minute, Günther Haslbeck fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Jean Carl Ba Loua kicked well hit freekick during the 35th minute of the match. Carmine Anastasi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

FC Schonebeck's Lothar Drinkard was substituted for Jean Carl Ba Loua. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Lothar Drinkard to make the kick off. Ubelteso Fontiveros made an important save on a dangerous shot by Anselm Hayer in the 53rd minute. After 55 minutes Emürspor's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Daniel Sokolski who took care of the corner kick. A nice corner shot did that Daniel Sokolski got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Ubelteso Fontiveros quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. In the 58th minute Linus Scholtz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lance Malliouris saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Lucjan Huchro hit a great freekick 59 minutes into the match. Lance Malliouris showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Linus Scholtz in the 61st minute of the match. Lance Malliouris showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hubertus Burger, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. In the 63rd minute Linus Scholtz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lance Malliouris saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 66 minutes into the match, Lothar Drinkard notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Emürspor's Ubelteso Fontiveros. Ubelteso Fontiveros was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Linus Scholtz in the 70th minute of play forced FC Schonebeck's goalkeeper Lance Malliouris to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Lance Malliouris showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Josip Schlebusch, who was totally free with the ball in the 82nd minute. Eduardo Prado kicked well hit freekick during the 83rd minute of the match. Ubelteso Fontiveros showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Michael Laudrup in the 84th minute of the match. Through an outstanding action, after 85 minutes, Ubelteso Fontiveros successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. If Lothar Drinkard had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 96thth minute of the game Linus Scholtz who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FC Schonebeck's Lance Malliouris was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 97 minutes into the game, Emürspor's Hubertus Burger nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Lance Malliouris made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the FC Schonebeck players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
