In the 22nd minute Wilhelm Nienhaus shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Martin Theodore saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Martin Theodore took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Benedikt Bensch, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 37 minutes into the match, KIEZKICKER's goal looked a bit too open when Wilhelm Nienhaus came free, but Martin Theodore reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Artur Bachor succeeded in the game's 39th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 2-1. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

The wind increased when Wilhelm Nienhaus made the kick off in the second half. With a little luck, KIEZKICKER's Martin Theodore got control of the ball when Wilhelm Nienhaus tried to sneak it across the goal line. KIEZKICKER's Valter Malekin managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Lüder Roppel in the 53 minute of the game. 60 minutes in the game Louis Leißner did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Artur Bachor. Pavel Boboc took the ball and in the 65 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Rune Jarstein. Rune Jarstein dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-1. A collision led to KIEZKICKER getting a freekick after 68 minutes play. Valter Malekin hit a great ball. 70 minutes into the game, one of Hertha 1969:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. In the 71st minute there was a penalty for KIEZKICKER. Artur Bachor stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Rune Jarstein. 4-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Artur Bachor in the 82nd minute of play forced Hertha 1969's goalkeeper Rune Jarstein to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Martin Theodore showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Wilhelm Nienhaus in the 88th minute of the match. Kristian Oswald could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 91st minute of the match, but Martin Theodore made a huge save. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The KIEZKICKER fans cheered their team off the field, for while Hertha 1969 had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
