The audience thought a goal was coming when Luboš Bezděk got free with Bogdan Czarnecki in the 9th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Bogdan Czarnecki made an important save on a dangerous shot by Luboš Bezděk in the 11th minute. With a little luck, AC Sparta Praha's Bogdan Czarnecki got control of the ball when Luboš Bezděk tried to sneak it across the goal line. If Erik Kolín had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Bogdan Czarnecki made an important save on a dangerous shot by Luboš Bezděk in the 15th minute. In the 20th minute of the match, Luboš Bezděk got a very nice opportunity to score, but Bogdan Czarnecki was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. In the 23rd minute, Pravý Těšín's Evald Olšák dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. Ulf Åkesson hit a great freekick 27 minutes into the match. Ondřej Duba made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ulf Åkesson in the 38th minute of play. Gabriel Spěvák fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bogdan Czarnecki having to interfere. In the 41st minute, Josef Macháč hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ondřej Duba took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Erik Kolín, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Dušan Černík to make the kick off. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Dušan Černík in the 51st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ondřej Duba prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Bogdan Czarnecki showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Evald Olšák in the 53rd minute of the match. The supporters of Pravý Těšín booed when AC Sparta Praha was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. Josef Macháč didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to Pravý Těšín getting a freekick after 56 minutes play. Jiří Mikulík hit a great ball. Dušan Černík recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 57th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 59 minutes, František Šedina mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Pravý Těšín and the AC Sparta Praha players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Pravý Těšín getting a freekick after 60 minutes play. František Šedina hit a great ball. Božetěch Ernest made in the 63rd minute of the game a quick throw-in and Miroslav Gavlas immediately put the ball in play. Dušan Černík recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 65th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Bogdan Czarnecki showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luboš Bezděk, who was totally free with the ball in the 71st minute. Luboš Bezděk struck a weak shot in the 73rd minute. Bogdan Czarnecki didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Pravý Těšín. Bogdan Czarnecki showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gabriel Spěvák, who was totally free with the ball in the 77th minute. Bogdan Czarnecki showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Evald Olšák in the 79th minute of the match. If Gabriel Spěvák had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gabriel Spěvák took the ball and in the 90 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Bogdan Czarnecki. Bogdan Czarnecki dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. Gabriel Spěvák fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bogdan Czarnecki having to interfere. Bogdan Czarnecki showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gabriel Spěvák in the 95th minute of the match. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Pravý Těšín had played much better football throughout.
