Valdemar Gottwald showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Benjamin Malák, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. Ameen Batran received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Valdemar Gottwald tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Martin Jano ran back to his position shaking his head. Benjamin Malák fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Valdemar Gottwald having to interfere. 44 minutes into the match, Ameen Batran had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Valdemar Gottwald. Tottenham Hotspur FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ameen Batran was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-6.
