Cheng Wei Yan was slow to take the kick. During this time Moneyball's players had a chance to rest. The corner led Moneyball's Mümtaz Yetiş to fire away a dangerous shot which Joe Ogier despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. After having played for 15 minutes, Xuaco Oñaederra managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Moneyball's supporters crossed their fingers, but Xuaco Oñaederra was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Jose Mourinho made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jakub Palas in the 17th minute of play. Joe Ogier made an important save on a dangerous shot by Imre Szabics in the 19th minute. Joe Ogier came out of the goal in the 23rd minute to try and stop a shot by Moneyball's Xuaco Oñaederra. But to his dismay, Xuaco Oñaederra quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jakub Palas in the 27th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jose Mourinho prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 38th minute Xuaco Oñaederra shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Joe Ogier saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 40th minute Moneyball were awarded a corner. Cheng Wei Yan went to the cornerflag to take it. A nice corner shot did that Xuaco Oñaederra got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Joe Ogier quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Joe Ogier was out of position in the 45 minute of play, and Imre Szabics capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Imre Szabics really showed his touch with that goal: 2-0.

The wind increased when Xuaco Oñaederra made the kick off in the second half. After 50 played minutes Burnelid got a freekick which was hit by Darek Krůta. Xuaco Oñaederra sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Joe Ogier showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Xuaco Oñaederra, who was totally free with the ball in the 63rd minute. Moneyball's Oliver Bergman was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Joe Ogier in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Burnelid's Joe Ogier played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Xuaco Oñaederra in the 75th minute of play. With an all-out effort, Burnelid's Jose Mourinho threw himself towards the right post 78 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Jakub Palas, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Xuaco Oñaederra blasted a shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Joe Ogier having to make a save. Xuaco Oñaederra recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 82nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Moneyball's Jose Mourinho proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 85th minute of the match, managed to save Moneyball from getting a goal against them. 87 minutes into the game, Xuaco Oñaederra cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-0. Joe Ogier was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 96th minute, Policarpio Trarigo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jose Mourinho was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-1. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Moneyball fans cheered their team off the field, for while Burnelid had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
