Spectators: 7713 (Terracing: 5786, Seating: 1774, VIP seats: 153) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Ernestin Mathieu kicked off to start the match. Mathias Veterini fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 3rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Florian Schwegler having to interfere. Dominique Kyd made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Christopher Anderjoli in the 6th minute of play. Mathias Veterini's late challenge caught a Lizzana Warriors's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Mathias Veterini helped the player get up and apologised. 11 minutes into the match, Ernestin Mathieu notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Lax's Dominique Kyd. Dominique Kyd was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Lizzana Warriors's Florian Schwegler played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dennis Nacht in the 14th minute of play. In the 17th minute, Bernardo Gut left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Lax fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. 24 minutes into the match, Lizzana Warriors's Ernestin Mathieu sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Dominique Kyd narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Florian Schwegler came out of the goal in the 26th minute to try and stop a shot by Lax's Mathias Veterini. But to his dismay, Mathias Veterini quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. After some careless play in the Lizzana Warriors defense, Bernardo Gut kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Florian Schwegler. The Lizzana Warriors fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Florian Schwegler should have stopped the shot. In the 35th minute, Dennis Nacht left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Lax fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-4. Ernestin Mathieu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 43rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Dennis Nacht made a kick off. Dominique Kyd showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Christopher Anderjoli, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. Markus Rager hit a great freekick 61 minutes into the match. In the 62nd minute of the match Christopher Kaelin sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Florian Schwegler skillfully saved the ball. Havel Märki could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 64th minute of the match, but Florian Schwegler made a huge save. After 67 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Lizzana Warriors! When the match had been going on for 70 minutes, Lax's Christopher Kaelin got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Florian Schwegler. The audience thought a goal was coming when Bernardo Gut got free with Florian Schwegler in the 75th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 79 played minutes Lax got a freekick which was hit by Bernardo Gut. After 82 minutes of play, Lizzana Warriors's Ernestin Mathieu made it 2-6 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Dominique Kyd was left in no man's land by his defense there! 85 minutes in the game, Dennis Nacht fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Florian Schwegler having to interfere. Ernestin Mathieu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Lukas Cathomas hit a great freekick 90 minutes into the match. Dominique Kyd didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ernestin Mathieu went, in the 95th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-6 was the resulting score. The Lax supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Lax would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
