Spectators: 7706 (Terracing: 5821, Seating: 1785, VIP seats: 100) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Davide Huber kicked off to start the match. 11 minutes into the match, INTERNAZIONALE . FC's goal looked a bit too open when Stig Konig came free, but Marco Obrecht reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some careless play in the INTERNAZIONALE . FC defense, Söncke Sieger kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Marco Obrecht. The INTERNAZIONALE . FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Marco Obrecht should have stopped the shot. In the 17th minute, Söncke Sieger made a precise shot to the right of Marco Obrecht. INTERNAZIONALE . FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. Davide Huber sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Marco Obrecht took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Stig Konig, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The crowd rose to their feet as Davide Huber kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Albano Huwiler. That made the score 1-2 in the 27 minute of play. Peppone Müller charged in rather forcefully in the 31st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Peppone Müller the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The long shot by Reinhard Ramseier in the 31st minute really tested Albano Huwiler's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Stig Konig might have been able to make a better finish in the 36th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Marco Obrecht. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Stig Konig ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 38th minute, Stig Konig left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The ParisSaintGermain fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-3. When Jan Meisterhans fell near the penalty area in the 44th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored ParisSaintGermain's protests and gave Jan Meisterhans a yellow card for diving instead. After 44 played minutes ParisSaintGermain got a freekick which was hit by Jan Meisterhans. With a little luck, ParisSaintGermain's Albano Huwiler got control of the ball when Gregor Baldini tried to sneak it across the goal line. The INTERNAZIONALE . FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. ParisSaintGermain were winning 1-3.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Söncke Sieger to strike the kick off in the second half. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Giancarlo Nielispach during the 54th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 60 played minutes INTERNAZIONALE . FC got a freekick which was hit by Davide Huber. Söncke Sieger's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Marco Obrecht read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 62nd minute of play. INTERNAZIONALE . FC's Samuele Scilacci suffered a sore thigh after 65 minutes and couldn't finish the game. Söncke Sieger charged in rather forcefully in the 65th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Söncke Sieger the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Söncke Sieger hit a great freekick 65 minutes into the match. Gregor Baldini struck a weak shot in the 73rd minute. Albano Huwiler didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for INTERNAZIONALE . FC. When Söncke Sieger came up free with the goalie in the 80th minute, the ParisSaintGermain fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Söncke Sieger couldn't finish the play. With a little luck, INTERNAZIONALE . FC's Marco Obrecht got control of the ball when Stig Konig tried to sneak it across the goal line. Söncke Sieger was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 82nd minute. ParisSaintGermain's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Söncke Sieger sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Marco Obrecht was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Söncke Sieger showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-4 in the 91 minute of play. Stig Konig recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 96th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. ParisSaintGermain played a much better game than INTERNAZIONALE . FC and deserved their victory. The INTERNAZIONALE . FC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
