Spectators: 7668 (Terracing: 6000, Seating: 1500, VIP seats: 168) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Bruce Arsenault made the kick off which started today's match. 4 minutes into the match, Suruç's goal looked a bit too open when Bruce Arsenault came free, but Enrico Peter reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Through an outstanding action, after 6 minutes, Walton Gaillou successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. In the 10th minute, Fermin Grabiel ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Enrico Peter was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. After 15 minutes, Bruce Arsenault made it 0-2 with a short kick to the right side. Suruç's Enrico Peter tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Dick Chauvet's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 19thth minute, Walton Gaillou skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Enrico Peter took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fermin Grabiel, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a defensive mix-up in Suruç's zone, Bruce Arsenault stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Enrico Peter came out of the goal and Bruce Arsenault tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The supporters of Suruç booed when Axenstein was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 29 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fermin Grabiel didn't get a good kick on the ball. Olivier Jakobeit fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Walton Gaillou having to interfere. After some careless play in the Axenstein defense, Benoit Luthiger kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Walton Gaillou. The Axenstein fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Walton Gaillou should have stopped the shot. 36 minutes into the game, Fermin Grabiel cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-3. Enrico Peter was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 41st minute, Clayton Leonz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Suruç's Benoit Luthiger came free and shot a quick shot against goal 43 minutes in the game, fortunately Walton Gaillou had problems saving as it came toward the left post.

The wind increased when Dick Chauvet made the kick off in the second half. Suruç's defense didn't have a chance, in the 54th minute, when Bruce Arsenault scored to the left of an out of position Enrico Peter, making the score, 2-4. The throw-in from Gerulf Fäh in the 58th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Suruç's Goliath Domini. An unexpectedly hard shot by Olivier Jakobeit in the 59th minute of play forced Axenstein's goalkeeper Walton Gaillou to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 63rd minute Malvin Estevis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Enrico Peter saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 73 minutes into the match, Suruç's goalkeeper Enrico Peter had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Fermin Grabiel. Bruce Arsenault could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 74th minute of the match, but Enrico Peter made a huge save. After 75 played minutes Suruç got a freekick which was hit by Francois Spieler. In the 84th minute, Benoit Luthiger got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 86th minute, Axenstein's Clarence Iosif seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Clarence Iosif the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Axenstein protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Clarence Iosif had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 86th minute of the game. One of Axenstein:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Suruç:s goal. Stig Meyer walked up to take care of the penalty kick. He was aiming for the top corner, but the ball went just outside the post. Dick Chauvet fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Walton Gaillou having to interfere. Olivier Jakobeit recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 94th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 95 minutes into the game, Clayton Leonz was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Axenstein's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Suruç the free kick. In the 96th match minute, Axenstein was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Clayton Leonz to maneuver through the defense. The Axenstein players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
