Fred Waechter's late challenge caught a Joga Bonito Juniors's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ingvar Hansen was out of position in the 36 minute of play, and Silvain Clément capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Silvain Clément really showed his touch with that goal: 3-0. In the 39th minute, Eggersriet FC 89's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Silvain Clément fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. 42 minutes into the match, Alex Ailenei had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ingvar Hansen. Eggersriet FC 89's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Alex Ailenei was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-0. Leonardo Schällibaum kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Joga Bonito Juniors's Nicodim Negru slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Ingvar Hansen. That made the score 5-0 after 46 minutes of play.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell 巩景渊 to make the kick off. When Silvain Clément came up free with the goalie in the 52nd minute, the Joga Bonito Juniors fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Silvain Clément couldn't finish the play. After 53 played minutes Eggersriet FC 89 got a freekick which was hit by Martial Gautschi. 63 minutes into the match, Eggersriet FC 89's goal looked a bit too open when Silvain Clément came free, but Ingvar Hansen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Seyfullah Toktaş in the 64th minute of play forced Eggersriet FC 89's goalkeeper Ingvar Hansen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Eggersriet FC 89's Ingvar Hansen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Seyfullah Toktaş in the 70th minute of play. Ingvar Hansen came out of the goal in the 72nd minute to try and stop a shot by Joga Bonito Juniors's Alex Ailenei. But to his dismay, Alex Ailenei quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 6-0. Ingvar Hansen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from 巩景渊, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 巩景渊 charged in rather forcefully in the 85th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed 巩景渊 the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. 巩景渊 hit a great freekick 85 minutes into the match. Gerwin Wehrlin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Martial Gautschi in the 88th minute of play. Silvain Clément's late challenge caught a Eggersriet FC 89's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Silvain Clément helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Joga Bonito Juniors getting a freekick after 97 minutes play. Silvain Clément hit a great ball.
