With an extended leg and a bit of luck Benito Fuhrmann prevented the ball from getting in the gole. A collision led to BUENA ESPERANZA getting a freekick after 5 minutes play. Ryan Kalb hit a great ball. Sascha Waller fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Benito Fuhrmann having to interfere. Harold Hinnen blasted a shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Benito Fuhrmann having to make a save. Rasul Wollenmann struck a weak shot in the 23rd minute. Gaston Schwyzer didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for BUENA ESPERANZA. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Harold Hinnen in the 24th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Benito Fuhrmann saved BUENA ESPERANZA from getting behind. Bastien Visser might have been able to make a better finish in the 27th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Benito Fuhrmann. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Bastien Visser ran back to his position shaking his head. When Belfaux's Harold Hinnen in the 30th minute got a chance for a shot 30th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye BUENA ESPERANZA's goalie prevented a goal. The crowd rose to their feet as Belfaux's Sascha Waller slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Benito Fuhrmann. That made the score 1-0 after 31 minutes of play. In the 36th minute, Sascha Waller got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Harold Hinnen could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 39th minute of the match, but Benito Fuhrmann made a huge save. In the 41stth minute of the game Harold Hinnen who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but BUENA ESPERANZA's Benito Fuhrmann was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Benito Fuhrmann showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Harold Hinnen in the 43rd minute of the match. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Harold Hinnen stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The audience was convinced that Harold Hinnen's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Benito Fuhrmann was relentless in the 63rd minute of the game. The Belfaux fans' excitement grew in the 63rd match minute when Belfaux's Harold Hinnen looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal.
