Ingvar Hansen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Anthony Mader in the 3rd minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Karim Meier got free with Ingvar Hansen in the 4th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When Stefano Labrie fell near the penalty area in the 6th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Lütmerken's protests and gave Stefano Labrie a yellow card for diving instead. Stefano Labrie kicked well hit freekick during the 6th minute of the match. 8 minutes into the match, Martial Gautschi notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Lütmerken's Remi Mader. Remi Mader was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Eggersriet FC 89's Ingvar Hansen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Anthony Mader in the 13th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Lütmerken's zone, Martial Gautschi stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Remi Mader came out of the goal and Martial Gautschi tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Remi Mader made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Martial Gautschi in the 21st minute of play. Remi Mader didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Martial Gautschi went, in the 21st minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. Martial Gautschi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Remi Mader tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Eggersriet FC 89's Martial Gautschi got a good chance for a goal in the 30th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 32nd minute, Stefano Labrie hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Bennett Stalder fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Remi Mader having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Beniamino Jerzinger in the 40th minute of play forced Lütmerken's goalkeeper Remi Mader to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Bennett Stalder received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Remi Mader tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Bennett Stalder sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The Lütmerken players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Eggersriet FC 89 were winning 0-2.

Greg Eberhart hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Anthony Mader in the 59th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ingvar Hansen prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 62nd minute, Martial Gautschi sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Lütmerken's Remi Mader didn't even have to move. If August Zwirn had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Eggersriet FC 89's Martial Gautschi got a good chance for a goal in the 65th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Martial Gautschi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Lütmerken's Stefano Labrie got his second yellow card of the match in the 69th minute. The referee ordered Stefano Labrie off the ground. Remi Mader showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bennett Stalder, who was totally free with the ball in the 72nd minute. Remi Mader made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from August Zwirn in the 77th minute of play. In the 78th match minute, Lütmerken was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mathieu Clèment to maneuver through the defense. After 80 played minutes Lütmerken got a freekick which was hit by Anthony Mader. In the 81st minute, Eggersriet FC 89's August Zwirn dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-3. Eggersriet FC 89's Martial Gautschi got a good chance for a goal in the 86th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Lütmerken's zone, Bennett Stalder stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Remi Mader came out of the goal and Bennett Stalder tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Eggersriet FC 89 played a much better game than Lütmerken and deserved their victory. The Lütmerken players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
