Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Karakartal JK's Francois Strebel started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 3rd minute Filippo Sankt shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Artur Walter saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 6th minute, Francois Strebel made a precise shot to the right of Sergio Reimann. Moscia SC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. In the 8th minute, Fabrizio Fridli got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Matthias Zeiher sent away a hard shot on goal in the 10th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Matthias Zeiher came up free with the goalie in the 17th minute, the Karakartal JK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Matthias Zeiher couldn't finish the play. Franklin Amsel struck a weak shot in the 25th minute. Sergio Reimann didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Karakartal JK. After 27 minutes of play, Karakartal JK's Matthias Zeiher made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Sergio Reimann was left in no man's land by his defense there! Artur Walter made an important save on a dangerous shot by Lorenzo Schwerzmann in the 38th minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Filippo Sankt kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Artur Walter. That made the score 2-3 in the 40 minute of play. The attack was good, but when Francois Strebel in the 44th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. After 48 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Moscia SC! The referee gave Karakartal JK a penalty, 51 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Franklin Amsel, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Moscia SC's Sergio Reimann. 2-4. The Moscia SC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Karakartal JK were winning 2-4.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Lorenzo Schwerzmann was the one to do the kick off. After a rather tough play, Moscia SC's Argus Feer got a free kick in the 58th minute. Karakartal JK's Francois Strebel got a good chance for a goal in the 60th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Filippo Sankt fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Artur Walter having to interfere. When Denis Gerber fell near the penalty area in the 67th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Karakartal JK's protests and gave Denis Gerber a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Karakartal JK getting a freekick after 68 minutes play. Denis Gerber hit a great ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Francois Strebel got free with Sergio Reimann in the 70th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Artur Walter came out of the goal in the 77th minute to try and stop a shot by Moscia SC's Filippo Sankt. But to his dismay, Filippo Sankt quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-4. Artur Walter took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Filippo Sankt, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Fabrizio Fridli could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 85th minute of the match, but Sergio Reimann made a huge save. Sergio Reimann was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Francois Strebel showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 3-5 in the 92 minute of play. In the 100th minute, Denis Gerber reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Sergio Reimann. The goal made the score 3-6.
