The Romanel HC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. A collision led to Tegerfelden getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Casimir Dahinden hit a great ball. Casimir Dahinden's late challenge caught a Romanel HC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Hans-Ruedi Figini to strike the kick off in the second half. Tony Frey didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Uberto Ackerman went, in the 54th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score. Tony Frey showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hans-Ruedi Figini in the 57th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Romanel HC's Julius Ziswiler got a free kick in the 65th minute. Uberto Ackerman was extremely unlucky when he, in the 69th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Lothaire Wyser charged in rather forcefully in the 75th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Lothaire Wyser the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Felicien Bourgouin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rodrigo Wertscher, who was totally free with the ball in the 80th minute. If Uberto Ackerman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Romanel HC had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
