Denis Gerber sent away a hard shot on goal in the 6th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 9th minute Marc Jäggi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Artur Walter saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Denis Gerber struck a weak shot in the 10th minute. Ladislas Vittiger didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Karakartal JK. Ladislas Vittiger made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Francois Strebel in the 12th minute of play. 13 minutes into the match, Fabrizio Fridli had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ladislas Vittiger. Black Jack's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Fabrizio Fridli was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. A collision led to Black Jack getting a freekick after 16 minutes play. Thorsten Cristallini hit a great ball. Denis Gerber kicked well hit freekick during the 21st minute of the match. 23 minutes into the game, Francois Strebel cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. Ladislas Vittiger was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. With his leg Artur Walter managed to avoid a goal in the 30thth minute, when Black Jack's Nico Kohler fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Artur Walter showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marc Jäggi, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. If Francois Strebel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 40 played minutes Black Jack got a freekick which was hit by Nico Kohler. Ladislas Vittiger showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Matthias Zeiher, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. Cameron Bargherr kicked well hit freekick during the 42nd minute of the match. After having played for 46 minutes, Francois Strebel managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Karakartal JK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Francois Strebel was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-4.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Marc Jäggi to strike the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marc Jäggi in the 56th minute of play forced Karakartal JK's goalkeeper Artur Walter to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Artur Walter didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Marc Jäggi went, in the 56th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-4 was the resulting score. A collision led to Karakartal JK getting a freekick after 62 minutes play. Wigand Büchel hit a great ball. 63 minutes into the game, Black Jack's Marc Jäggi nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Artur Walter made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-4. Nico Kohler charged in rather forcefully in the 71st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Nico Kohler the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 71 played minutes Black Jack got a freekick which was hit by Nico Kohler. After 77 minutes, Timon Jardan mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Karakartal JK and the Black Jack players grew even worse after the yellow card. Timon Jardan kicked well hit freekick during the 77th minute of the match. 82 minutes into the game, Black Jack's Marc Jäggi nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Artur Walter made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-4. Karakartal JK's Denis Gerber got a good chance for a goal in the 87th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 89 minutes into the game, Jonas Emmeneger was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Black Jack's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Karakartal JK the free kick. When the match had been going on for 91 minutes, Karakartal JK's Franklin Amsel got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Ladislas Vittiger. The supporters of Karakartal JK booed when Black Jack was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 94 match minutes in a wonderful position. Thommy Huber didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 97th minute, Francois Strebel managed to get in a good position for a shot. Karakartal JK's supporters rose to their feet, but Francois Strebel was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ladislas Vittiger breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Through an outstanding action, after 99 minutes, Ladislas Vittiger successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post.
