Rhäzüns FC's zone, Matt Rösli stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jonas Lütolf came out of the goal and Matt Rösli tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Matt Rösli in the 36th minute of play forced AG.S. Rhäzüns FC's goalkeeper Jonas Lütolf to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Bernie Sevier hit a great freekick 37 minutes into the match. The supporters of Winterthur booed when AG.S. Rhäzüns FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 41 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bernie Sevier didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Georges Wermelinger made a kick off. In the 52ndth minute of the game Matt Rösli who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but AG.S. Rhäzüns FC's Jonas Lütolf was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After having played for 90 minutes, Matt Rösli managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Joao Lemmenmeier's late challenge caught a AG.S. Rhäzüns FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Joao Lemmenmeier helped the player get up and apologised. After 91 played minutes Winterthur got a freekick which was hit by Joao Lemmenmeier.
