Endrik Galliker made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Matthias Zeiher in the 14th minute of play. When Lionel 柯景云 fell near the penalty area in the 15th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Moon Night Fighter's protests and gave Lionel 柯景云 a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Moon Night Fighter getting a freekick after 15 minutes play. Lionel 柯景云 hit a great ball. Francois Strebel struck a weak shot in the 17th minute. Endrik Galliker didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Karakartal JK. Francois Strebel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Artur Walter showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Carl Nannarone, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. After 23 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Moon Night Fighter! If Francois Strebel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. Endrik Galliker made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Francois Strebel in the 42nd minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Francois Strebel got free with Endrik Galliker in the 44th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If Franklin Amsel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Francois Strebel to make the kick off. Raí Cardoso fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Artur Walter having to interfere. In the 53rd minute Raí Cardoso shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Artur Walter saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Karakartal JK's Matthias Zeiher got a good chance for a goal in the 58th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Francois Strebel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Francois Strebel in the 62nd minute of play forced Moon Night Fighter's goalkeeper Endrik Galliker to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a little luck, Karakartal JK's Artur Walter got control of the ball when Lionel 柯景云 tried to sneak it across the goal line. Francois Strebel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Endrik Galliker having to interfere. Moon Night Fighter's attentive Raí Cardoso managed to snatch the ball when Louis Gätter made a throw-in in the 84th minute of the game.
