Without hesitation aimed to the right of Fergus Brünisholz, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Felicien Bürli was the one to do the kick off. When the match clock showed 76 minutes, the score became 2-1 when Ove Grüter sped through Bironico HC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Fergus Brünisholz. After a rather tough play, Bironico HC's Jonas Trasatti got a free kick in the 81st minute. Luis Hitz was out of position in the 83 minute of play, and Philipp Horber capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Philipp Horber really showed his touch with that goal: 2-2. Jonas Trasatti fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Luis Hitz having to interfere.
