Seating: 1963, VIP seats: 130) LLoyd Stübi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 3rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. LLoyd Stübi struck a weak shot in the 7th minute. Jan Netzer didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC Glarus. The audience was convinced that Bruce Zeyer's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jan Netzer was relentless in the 7th minute of the game. After 11th play minutes Bruce Zeyer shot 0-1, a short shot which went by Jan Netzer and just under the crossbar into goal. In the 14th minute, Alex Ciancone hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 16 minutes, LLoyd Stübi managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC Glarus's supporters crossed their fingers, but LLoyd Stübi was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After some careless play in the Cagnagob defense, LLoyd Stübi kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jan Netzer. The Cagnagob fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jan Netzer should have stopped the shot. The supporters of Cagnagob booed when FC Glarus was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Simjon Gruenigen didn't get a good kick on the ball. 0-4 became the score in the 28th minute when LLoyd Stübi elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. In the 31st minute Bruce Zeyer shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jan Netzer saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Leopoldo Zihler took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Patrizius Lampron, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Leopoldo Zihler made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Patrizius Lampron in the 46th minute of play.
The wind increased when Bruce Zeyer made the kick off in the second half. FC Glarus's Bruce Zeyer got a good chance for a goal in the 59th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Dario Uttiger blasted a shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Jan Netzer having to make a save. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Patrizius Lampron in the 64th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Leopoldo Zihler prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Jan Netzer didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Bruce Zeyer went, in the 67th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-5 was the resulting score. FC Glarus's Bruce Zeyer got a good chance for a goal in the 72nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Tasso Gruenigen hit a great freekick 74 minutes into the match. Charlie Gianico came free in the 78th minute and tried to tip the ball over Jan Netzer, but to the joy of Cagnagob's supporters the ball went over. Jan Netzer stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of LLoyd Stübi's shot from short distance in the 80th minute. Leopoldo Zihler showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Patrizius Lampron in the 82nd minute of the match. A collision led to FC Glarus getting a freekick after 83 minutes play. Simjon Gruenigen hit a great ball. In the 84th minute Patrizius Lampron shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Leopoldo Zihler saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jan Netzer showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bruce Zeyer, who was totally free with the ball in the 87th minute. When Cagnagob's Patrizius Lampron in the 93rd minute got a chance for a shot 93rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye FC Glarus's goalie prevented a goal. FC Glarus's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
