The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 25thth minute of the game Benedetto Louis who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ticino Patriots's Roth Sommer was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 28 minutes into the match, Ticino Patriots's goal looked a bit too open when Metin Kayaalp came free, but Roth Sommer reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Roth Sommer showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Metin Kayaalp in the 30th minute of the match. Tizian Zimmermann's late challenge caught a Uebeschi Rangers's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Tizian Zimmermann helped the player get up and apologised. After 32 played minutes Ticino Patriots got a freekick which was hit by Tizian Zimmermann. An unexpectedly hard shot by Benedetto Louis in the 34th minute of play forced Ticino Patriots's goalkeeper Roth Sommer to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Uebeschi Rangers's Stanislav Yakovlev proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 36th minute of the match, managed to save Uebeschi Rangers from getting a goal against them. An unexpectedly hard shot by Metin Kayaalp in the 38th minute of play forced Ticino Patriots's goalkeeper Roth Sommer to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 38th minute Uebeschi Rangers were awarded a corner. Metin Kayaalp went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner led Uebeschi Rangers's Metin Kayaalp to fire away a dangerous shot which Roth Sommer despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. The Ticino Patriots players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Uebeschi Rangers were winning 0-2.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Justo Jerano made a kick off. Roth Sommer made an important save on a dangerous shot by Felipe Bachelard in the 53rd minute. Benedetto Louis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Roth Sommer tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Uebeschi Rangers getting a freekick after 59 minutes play. Metin Kayaalp hit a great ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 61st minute, Justo Jerano managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ticino Patriots's supporters rose to their feet, but Justo Jerano was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Stanislav Yakovlev breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 68 minutes into the match, Ticino Patriots's goalkeeper Roth Sommer had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Felipe Bachelard. Ticino Patriots's Roth Sommer played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Metin Kayaalp in the 75th minute of play. 77 minutes into the game, Benedetto Louis recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Roth Sommer. Benedetto Louis showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-3. Ticino Patriots made a substitution. Teo Vincx replaced Mike Robert. Generoso Duarte hit a great freekick 84 minutes into the match. Stanislav Yakovlev stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Justo Jerano's shot from short distance in the 86th minute. Roth Sommer made an important save on a dangerous shot by Benedetto Louis in the 87th minute. Benedetto Louis scored 0-4 in the 94th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Roth Sommer, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Metin Kayaalp in the 97th minute of play forced Ticino Patriots's goalkeeper Roth Sommer to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The Ticino Patriots fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Uebeschi Rangers were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
