When the match had gone on for 11 minutes, Jonas Herz put it in 1-0 from a short distance just to the right of Henrick Zeier. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Henrick Zeier took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jonas Herz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Sepp Mainville made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Serge Jeanneret in the 36th minute of play. After some careless play in the Tarada defense, Gilles Clerc kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Henrick Zeier. The Tarada fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Henrick Zeier should have stopped the shot. Sepp Mainville showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Stian Aarflot, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute. In the 45th minute, Florian Walther hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Tarada's Henrick Zeier played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jonas Herz in the 78th minute of play. 79 minutes had been played when some careless play by Tarada's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Albain Furst was slow to take the kick. During this time Zelg FC's players had a chance to rest. Zelg FC's Ivan Bieber was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Henrick Zeier in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jonas Herz in the 85th minute of play forced Tarada's goalkeeper Henrick Zeier to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jonas Herz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Henrick Zeier stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jonas Herz's shot from short distance in the 89th minute. Irwin Monney hit a great freekick 90 minutes into the match. Jonas Herz might have been able to make a better finish in the 95th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Henrick Zeier. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Jonas Herz ran back to his position shaking his head. For all the effort they put into the match, the Tarada players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Zelg FC.
