Mauro Colomes recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 6th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Staf Hellemons blasted a shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Taavi Hansen having to make a save. Yoeri van Eycken showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jannes Sproten in the 10th minute of the match. Renaud De Weyngaert's late challenge caught a FC Technix's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Renaud De Weyngaert helped the player get up and apologised. Renaud De Weyngaert hit a great freekick 12 minutes into the match. When Mauro Colomes came up free with the goalie in the 13th minute, the FC Technix fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mauro Colomes couldn't finish the play. Yoeri van Eycken was out of position in the 17 minute of play, and Silvio Bommer capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Silvio Bommer really showed his touch with that goal: 2-0. Jannes Sprotens short, quick shot in the 20thth minute got Yoeri van Eycken to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. With his leg Yoeri van Eycken managed to avoid a goal in the 22ndth minute, when FC Technix's Jannes Sproten fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Staf Hellemons in the 24th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Taavi Hansen saved FC Technix from getting behind. After having played for 28 minutes, Jannes Sproten managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC Technix's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jannes Sproten was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Renaud De Weyngaert was shown his second yellow card after 31 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. After 32 played minutes rsc vilvo got a freekick which was hit by Renaud De Weyngaert. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Roberto Rosado during the 34th minute. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Herbert Rostow made a kick off. Yoeri van Eycken made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jannes Sproten in the 52nd minute of play. Yoeri van Eycken stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jannes Sproten's shot from short distance in the 59th minute. After a rather tough play, rsc vilvo's Isaac Wyns got a free kick in the 61st minute. 70 minutes into the match, FC Technix's goalkeeper Taavi Hansen had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Herbert Rostow. Staf Hellemons received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Taavi Hansen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jannes Sproten in the 76th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Yoeri van Eycken prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When FC Technix's Jannes Sproten in the 78th minute got a chance for a shot 78th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye rsc vilvo's goalie prevented a goal. rsc vilvo's Yoeri van Eycken played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jannes Sproten in the 80th minute of play. If Mauro Colomes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. FC Technix walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
