Leon Portmans fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Anton Laeremans having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Caput Bovis's Olivier Maerschalckx got a free kick in the 27th minute. After 30 played minutes Caput Bovis got a freekick which was hit by Claude Maenhout. Staf Van der Veeken sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Apollo Wachtebeke's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Staf Van der Veeken 37 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-1. 40 minutes into the match, Caput Bovis's Staf Van der Veeken sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Artur Van Bostraeten narrowly saved just below the crossbar. When Staf Van der Veeken came up free with the goalie in the 44th minute, the Caput Bovis fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Staf Van der Veeken couldn't finish the play. Luciano Maristany's late challenge caught a Caput Bovis's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Luciano Maristany helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Apollo Wachtebeke's Luciano Maristany got a free kick in the 47th minute. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

Luc Verbraecken's late challenge caught a Apollo Wachtebeke's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. The goalkeeper, Anton Laeremans, was totally fooled by Apollo Wachtebeke's Károly Pál-Szabó, who 54 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. Apollo Wachtebeke's Januz Januzaj got a good chance for a goal in the 60th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 64th minute, Caput Bovis's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Steve Vissenaekers fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Anton Laeremans was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Leon Portmans showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-3 in the 65 minute of play. Anton Laeremans showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Leon Portmans in the 70th minute of the match. 85 minutes into the match, Apollo Wachtebeke's goal looked a bit too open when Staf Van der Veeken came free, but Artur Van Bostraeten reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Caput Bovis's Staf Van der Veeken got a good chance for a goal in the 88th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 90 minutes, Stephen Symons mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Caput Bovis and the Apollo Wachtebeke players grew even worse after the yellow card. Stephen Symons kicked well hit freekick during the 90th minute of the match. Januz Januzaj was extremely unlucky when he, in the 94th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. The Caput Bovis fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Apollo Wachtebeke were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
