Oswald Van Clijnenbreugel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 3rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bastiaan De Loose having to interfere. SC Schellebelle's Sebbe Jacobs played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gert-Jan Reiniers in the 9th minute of play. With a little luck, KV Langdorp's Bastiaan De Loose got control of the ball when Richmond Everts tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 22nd match minute, KV Langdorp was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cederik Van Riel to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in SC Schellebelle's zone, Gert-Jan Reiniers stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Sebbe Jacobs came out of the goal and Gert-Jan Reiniers tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Gert-Jan Reiniers sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 36th minute, Richmond Everts managed to get in a good position for a shot. SC Schellebelle's supporters rose to their feet, but Richmond Everts was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Bastiaan De Loose breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 37th minute Sam-Lucas Helssens shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bastiaan De Loose saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Gunter Vervaet fell near the penalty area in the 38th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored KV Langdorp's protests and gave Gunter Vervaet a yellow card for diving instead. Gunter Vervaet kicked well hit freekick during the 38th minute of the match.

After some fancy dribbling in the 51st minute, Richmond Everts managed to get in a good position for a shot. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Sam-Lucas Helssens in the 91st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Bastiaan De Loose prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Sebbe Jacobs showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jan-Joost Schamp, who was totally free with the ball in the 97th minute.
