Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Mitch Velkeneers made the kick off and thus started the match. Walderdonk's Jordi Suteweij played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nicolas Kerstens in the 7th minute of play. Jannes Meulemans showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Herbert Van Meensel, who was totally free with the ball in the 8th minute. After recieving a nice pass, Wolvertem-Merchtem's Andries Lingier tried to score from far away in the 11th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. 14 minutes into the match, Walderdonk's goal looked a bit too open when Teo Coekelbergh came free, but Jordi Suteweij reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Tuur Van Havent hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. Herbert Van Meensel scored 0-1 in the 22nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jannes Meulemans, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Jannes Meulemans showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mitch Velkeneers in the 27th minute of the match. In the 33rd minute, Tuur Van Havent hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 35 minutes into the match, Wolvertem-Merchtem's goal looked a bit too open when Herbert Van Meensel came free, but Jannes Meulemans reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jordi Suteweij was a little too slow when Andries Lingier got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 36th minute. The score was now 1-1. Teo Coekelbergh recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 39th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 44th minute, Mitch Velkeneers ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jannes Meulemans was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Teo Coekelbergh to make the kick off. Goffrey Helssen's late challenge caught a Wolvertem-Merchtem's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Goffrey Helssen helped the player get up and apologised. 59 minutes into the match, Herbert Van Meensel had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jannes Meulemans. Wolvertem-Merchtem's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Herbert Van Meensel was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-3. In the 62nd minute, Andries Lingier got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After some careless play in the Walderdonk defense, Teo Coekelbergh kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jordi Suteweij. The Walderdonk fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jordi Suteweij should have stopped the shot. Jordi Suteweij showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Matias Van den Maegdenbergh, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute. A collision led to Walderdonk getting a freekick after 70 minutes play. Michael Struyf hit a great ball. Jordi Suteweij made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nicolas Kerstens in the 71st minute of play. 74 minutes into the game, one of Wolvertem-Merchtem:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. The goalkeeper, Jannes Meulemans, was totally fooled by Walderdonk's Adam Slaghmeulders, who 75 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. Andries Lingier sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 82nd minute, Andries Lingier hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jannes Meulemans made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Davy Boegaerts in the 85th minute of play. In the 86th minute, Nicolas Kerstens got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Teo Coekelbergh fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jordi Suteweij having to interfere. 89 minutes into the match, Wolvertem-Merchtem's Nicolas Kerstens sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jordi Suteweij narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 91st minute, Teo Coekelbergh hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Davy Boegaerts received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Jannes Meulemans came out and tried to block the shot, but Davy Boegaerts slotted it home off the left post making it 2-5 in the 96th minute. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Walderdonk eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
