Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Alek Nelis started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Octavian De Custer took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alek Nelis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Tommas Gobbelijns hit a great freekick 6 minutes into the match. 11 minutes into the match, aru q united's Hans Franckx sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Romain De Mees narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Hans Franckx could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 14th minute of the match, but Romain De Mees made a huge save. After 16 played minutes Stockroye got a freekick which was hit by Jacobus Goossens. After a rather tough play, aru q united's Karel Coosemans got a free kick in the 17th minute. After 21 minutes of play, Stockroye's Kristof Heirremans made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Octavian De Custer was left in no man's land by his defense there! Romain De Mees was out of position in the 24 minute of play, and Hector Delamenin capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Hector Delamenin really showed his touch with that goal: 1-1. In the 28th minute Kristof Heirremans shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Octavian De Custer saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Hans Franckx came up free with the goalie in the 30th minute, the aru q united fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Hans Franckx couldn't finish the play. Rajmond Rosbach kicked well hit freekick during the 31st minute of the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Hector Delamenin kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Romain De Mees. That made the score 2-1 in the 33 minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 37th minute, Hans Franckx managed to get in a good position for a shot. aru q united's supporters rose to their feet, but Hans Franckx was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Romain De Mees breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Stockroye's Romain De Mees played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hector Delamenin in the 39th minute of play. After 45 minutes of play, Stockroye's Louis-Philippe De Baere made it 2-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Octavian De Custer was left in no man's land by his defense there! After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

If Alek Nelis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, aru q united's Laurend Elzen got a free kick in the 52nd minute. Hector Delamenin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Romain De Mees tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Hans Franckx sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Hans Franckx had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hector Delamenin in the 71st minute of play forced Stockroye's goalkeeper Romain De Mees to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 71st minute, Joos Van De Ven hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 74 played minutes aru q united got a freekick which was hit by Laurend Elzen. 78 minutes into the match, Hans Franckx notched a goal, 3-2, to the right of Stockroye's Romain De Mees. Romain De Mees was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. When Hans Franckx came up free with the goalie in the 84th minute, the aru q united fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Hans Franckx couldn't finish the play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Hans Franckx in the 86th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Romain De Mees prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Alek Nelis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After a defensive mix-up in Stockroye's zone, Hans Franckx stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Romain De Mees came out of the goal and Hans Franckx tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Tommas Gobbelijns hit a great freekick 94 minutes into the match. Stockroye's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
