Seppe Steuckens dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. Matthy Rompen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rafael Van Lancker having to interfere. If Isaac De Fauw had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 37 minutes into the match, Leffe's goal looked a bit too open when Isaac De Fauw came free, but Seppe Steuckens reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Seppe Steuckens stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Isaac De Fauw's shot from short distance in the 42nd minute. Steve Van Meensel kicked well hit freekick during the 44th minute of the match. Gilliam Wigers struck a weak shot in the 47th minute. Seppe Steuckens didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for AS Roma. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

The wind increased when Isaac De Fauw made the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute, Alan De Custer hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Gilliam Wigers recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 68th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Victor Coveliers hit a great freekick 69 minutes into the match. Isaac De Fauw fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Seppe Steuckens having to interfere. Rafael Van Lancker showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Christiaan Van de Poel, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. Gilliam Wigers scored 0-3 in the 77th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Seppe Steuckens, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. When Willem-Alexander Iwens fell near the penalty area in the 82nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored AS Roma's protests and gave Willem-Alexander Iwens a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to AS Roma getting a freekick after 82 minutes play. Willem-Alexander Iwens hit a great ball. Rafael Van Lancker showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Matthy Rompen in the 86th minute of the match. In the 89th minute Willem-Alexander Iwens shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Seppe Steuckens saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the match was over AS Roma could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Leffe throughout the match.
