Billie Montens sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Sporting Lokeren's Kristof Van den Broeck played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ronald Cornelis in the 24th minute of play. Herve De Neuter stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Billie Montens's shot from short distance in the 28th minute. Herve De Neuter took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Billie Montens, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Herve De Neuter showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dominik Dhondt, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. Elias De Vleeschauwere received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Kristof Van den Broeck tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.

Billie Montens sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to VC Froidfontaine getting a freekick after 63 minutes play. Ronald Cornelis hit a great ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ronald Cornelis in the 68th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Kristof Van den Broeck saved Sporting Lokeren from getting behind. Xander Vuerinckx kicked well hit freekick during the 69th minute of the match. If Elias De Vleeschauwere had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ronald Cornelis took the ball and in the 74 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Kristof Van den Broeck. Kristof Van den Broeck dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. 77 minutes into the match, VC Froidfontaine's goalkeeper Herve De Neuter had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Dominik Dhondt. Billie Montens received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. Herve De Neuter tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Billie Montens in the 84th minute of play forced VC Froidfontaine's goalkeeper Herve De Neuter to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 87th minute Elias De Vleeschauwere shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kristof Van den Broeck saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Sporting Lokeren's Xander Vuerinckx got a free kick in the 87th minute. Herve De Neuter made an important save on a dangerous shot by Dominik Dhondt in the 91st minute.
