After having played for 22 minutes, Christofere Wauters managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Oliver Goemyne made a kick off. After a rather tough play, FC Nieuwpoort's Timothy Wijnants got a free kick in the 70th minute. After having played for 71 minutes, Christofere Wauters managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Philippeville's supporters rose to their feet, but Christofere Wauters was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Franky Ceustermans breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Tim Koninkx had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Timothy Wijnants's late challenge caught a Philippeville's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Timothy Wijnants helped the player get up and apologised. In the 82nd match minute, FC Nieuwpoort was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Timothy Wijnants to maneuver through the defense. Franky Ceustermans made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Christofere Wauters in the 84th minute of play. 85 minutes had been played when some careless play by FC Nieuwpoort's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner.
