Nils Focquier was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. In the 7thth minute of the game Pascal Zeitner who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but De Karotte's Nils Focquier was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 21st minute Pascal Zeitner shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nils Focquier saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 23 minutes into the game, Kaysersheim's Pascal Zeitner nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Nils Focquier made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-4. When Sammy Van Houdtvin came up free with the goalie in the 26th minute, the Kaysersheim fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Sammy Van Houdtvin couldn't finish the play. In the 27th match minute, Kaysersheim was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jorre Van de Gaer to maneuver through the defense. After 29 minutes, Yves Van Dijcke mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the De Karotte and the Kaysersheim players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to De Karotte getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. Yves Van Dijcke hit a great ball. Nils Focquier took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pascal Zeitner, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a defensive mix-up in De Karotte's zone, Pascal Zeitner stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Nils Focquier came out of the goal and Pascal Zeitner tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Nils Focquier came out of the goal in the 34th minute to try and stop a shot by Kaysersheim's Pascal Zeitner. But to his dismay, Pascal Zeitner quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-5. In the 37thth minute of the game Pascal Zeitner who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but De Karotte's Nils Focquier was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The audience was convinced that Pascal Zeitner's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Nils Focquier was relentless in the 38th minute of the game. In the 40thth minute of the game Pascal Zeitner who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but De Karotte's Nils Focquier was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Sander Weets scored 1-5 in the 42nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Otoniel Mondragon, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Pascal Zeitner fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nils Focquier having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Sammy Van Houdtvin in the 47th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Nils Focquier prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-5 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Pascal Zeitner was the one to do the kick off. A collision led to Kaysersheim getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. Matijs De Vlaeminck hit a great ball. Otoniel Mondragon showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sander Weets in the 57th minute of the match. With a little luck, De Karotte's Nils Focquier got control of the ball when Pascal Zeitner tried to sneak it across the goal line. With his leg Nils Focquier managed to avoid a goal in the 62ndth minute, when Kaysersheim's Pascal Zeitner fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Joel Demeester during the 62nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Nils Focquier didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Pascal Zeitner went, in the 64th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-6 was the resulting score. In the 79th minute Sander Weets shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Otoniel Mondragon saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Otoniel Mondragon took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sander Weets, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. De Karotte's Nils Focquier proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 81st minute of the match, managed to save De Karotte from getting a goal against them. Edwin Luijten kicked well hit freekick during the 83rd minute of the match. 84 minutes into the game, Pascal Zeitner cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-8. Nils Focquier was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 87 minutes into the match, De Karotte's goal looked a bit too open when Sammy Van Houdtvin came free, but Nils Focquier reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 89th match minute, Kaysersheim was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Erik-Jan Verheugen to maneuver through the defense. In the 90th minute Sander Weets shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Otoniel Mondragon saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Sammy Van Houdtvin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. Nils Focquier tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 95th minute Sammy Van Houdtvin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nils Focquier saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Kaysersheim played a much better game than De Karotte and deserved their victory. The De Karotte players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
