Spectators: 7441 (Terracing: 5500, Seating: 1841, VIP seats: 100) Storm U18's Rudy Van Eijcke started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 7th minute Jan-Pieter Heijlen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Stefan Rondou saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tristan Vanden Berghe in the 9th minute of play forced Storm U18's goalkeeper Stefan Rondou to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jan-Pieter Heijlen charged in rather forcefully in the 12th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Jan-Pieter Heijlen the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Storm U18 booed when Kota 1 FC ™ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jan-Pieter Heijlen didn't get a good kick on the ball. 18 minutes into the match, Storm U18's goal looked a bit too open when Charl Ravoet came free, but Stefan Rondou reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Izak De Vriendt fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Frank Leers having to interfere. When Izak De Vriendt came up free with the goalie in the 24th minute, the Storm U18 fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Izak De Vriendt couldn't finish the play. In the 27th match minute, Kota 1 FC ™ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jochen Volckaerts to maneuver through the defense. When Tristan Vanden Berghe came up free with the goalie in the 29th minute, the Kota 1 FC ™ fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tristan Vanden Berghe couldn't finish the play. Rudy Van Eijcke's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Frank Leers read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 31st minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tristan Vanden Berghe in the 32nd minute of play forced Storm U18's goalkeeper Stefan Rondou to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Charl Ravoet kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Stefan Rondou. That made the score 1-0 in the 34 minute of play. After 39 played minutes Storm U18 got a freekick which was hit by Rudy Van Eijcke. With a little luck, Storm U18's Stefan Rondou got control of the ball when Tristan Vanden Berghe tried to sneak it across the goal line. After some careless play in the Kota 1 FC ™ defense, Rudy Van Eijcke kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Frank Leers. The Kota 1 FC ™ fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Frank Leers should have stopped the shot. After some fancy dribbling in the 47th minute, Tristan Vanden Berghe managed to get in a good position for a shot. Kota 1 FC ™'s supporters rose to their feet, but Tristan Vanden Berghe was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Stefan Rondou breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Tristan Vanden Berghe to strike the kick off in the second half. Frank Leers made a fantastic save in the 56th minute, when Izak De Vriendt sent off a good shot on target. Stefan Rondou showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tristan Vanden Berghe in the 57th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jan-Pieter Heijlen in the 59th minute of play forced Storm U18's goalkeeper Stefan Rondou to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 61 minutes into the match, Storm U18's goal looked a bit too open when Tristan Vanden Berghe came free, but Stefan Rondou reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Stefan Rondou showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tristan Vanden Berghe in the 62nd minute of the match. Oliver Daems hit a great freekick 65 minutes into the match. Stefan Rondou showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tristan Vanden Berghe in the 81st minute of the match. 83 minutes into the match, Storm U18's goal looked a bit too open when Tristan Vanden Berghe came free, but Stefan Rondou reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Charl Ravoet took the ball and in the 84 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Stefan Rondou. Stefan Rondou dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-1. Jan-Pieter Heijlen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Stefan Rondou came out of the goal in the 89th minute to try and stop a shot by Kota 1 FC ™'s Tristan Vanden Berghe. But to his dismay, Tristan Vanden Berghe quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-1. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Kota 1 FC ™ had played much better football throughout.
