Stefan Rondou took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Christiaan Vermeiren, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Storm U18's Stefan Rondou played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Christiaan Vermeiren in the 35th minute of play. Stefan Rondou made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Amaury Steckens in the 39th minute of play. After 41 played minutes KFC Nudorp got a freekick which was hit by Christiaan Vermeiren. After some careless play in the Storm U18 defense, Thibaud Van Hecke kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Stefan Rondou. The Storm U18 fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Stefan Rondou should have stopped the shot. Anthony Straetmans kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-4 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Thibaud Van Hecke to make the kick off. The crowd rose to their feet as Christiaan Vermeiren kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Stefan Rondou. That made the score 0-5 in the 53 minute of play. When the match had gone on for 57 minutes, Amaury Steckens took a quick shot and it went in 0-6 without a chance for Stefan Rondou to make any attempt to save it. 65 minutes in the game, Christiaan Vermeiren fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Stefan Rondou having to interfere. Stefan Rondou came out of the goal in the 66th minute to try and stop a shot by KFC Nudorp's Thibaud Van Hecke. But to his dismay, Thibaud Van Hecke quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-7. Stefan Rondou showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Christiaan Vermeiren in the 71st minute of the match. With a little luck, Storm U18's Stefan Rondou got control of the ball when Matthew Vergau tried to sneak it across the goal line. Bas Vrancken's late challenge caught a KFC Nudorp's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Bas Vrancken helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of KFC Nudorp booed when Storm U18 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 74 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bas Vrancken didn't get a good kick on the ball. 76 minutes into the match, Storm U18's goal looked a bit too open when Amaury Steckens came free, but Stefan Rondou reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Amaury Steckens in the 78th minute of play forced Storm U18's goalkeeper Stefan Rondou to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Andreas Van Der Meeren had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 98th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. KFC Nudorp's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
