In the 5th minute of the match, Lauren Van Den Abeele got a very nice opportunity to score, but Gwenn Walters was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. One of PELT VV:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Olsa Brakel:s goal. 12 minutes had been played when some careless play by PELT VV's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Stephan Van de Leest was slow to take the kick. During this time Olsa Brakel's players had a chance to rest. Jos Laremans kicked well hit freekick during the 15th minute of the match. Lauren Van Den Abeele fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gwenn Walters having to interfere. Jannic De Wilde received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Gwenn Walters tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jos Laremans kicked well hit freekick during the 25th minute of the match. Stephan Van de Leest struck a weak shot in the 26th minute. Joannes Antheunis didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Olsa Brakel. Joannes Antheunis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Romain Rondas, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. Joannes Antheunis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mathieux Van Clynenbreugel in the 44th minute of the match.

With a little luck, PELT VV's Joannes Antheunis got control of the ball when Lorenz De Kock tried to sneak it across the goal line. Gwenn Walters was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. PELT VV's attentive Jos Laremans managed to snatch the ball when Romain Rondas made a throw-in in the 82nd minute of the game. Lauren Van Den Abeele blasted a shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Gwenn Walters having to make a save. Bass Boumans kicked well hit freekick during the 83rd minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Olsa Brakel's zone, Lauren Van Den Abeele stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gwenn Walters came out of the goal and Lauren Van Den Abeele tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 87 minutes into the match, Lauren Van Den Abeele had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Gwenn Walters. Olsa Brakel's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Lauren Van Den Abeele was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-1. A sloppy throw-in by Octavian Huyberechts in the 90th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by PELT VV's Cedrik De Muysere. Lauren Van Den Abeele blasted a shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Gwenn Walters having to make a save. Lauren Van Den Abeele might have been able to make a better finish in the 93rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Gwenn Walters. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Lauren Van Den Abeele ran back to his position shaking his head. During the 95th minute of the match Jannis Godts completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Jannis Godts a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. Gwenn Walters showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lauren Van Den Abeele, who was totally free with the ball in the 98th minute. There was no doubt that PELT VV were the better team. PELT VV's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
