Jacky Helsens got a throw-in 26 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Herman De Roeck. The FC Zandvoorde fans' excitement grew in the 60th match minute when FC Zandvoorde's Matthias Van Der Elst looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-4 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Matthias Van Der Elst fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Toon De Middeleer having to interfere. Anthonio Soetemans succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 0-5 in the 67th playminute. When the match had gone on for 71 minutes, Matthias Van Der Elst took a quick shot and it went in 0-6 without a chance for Toon De Middeleer to make any attempt to save it. Benny Theijs fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fredrik Meeuwissen having to interfere. The throw-in from Achilles Rockloos in the 81st minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by FC Zandvoorde's Gunther Gijsbrechts. FC Flat Beat's Toon De Middeleer played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Matthias Van Der Elst in the 83rd minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 88th minute, Matijs Cremers managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC Flat Beat's supporters rose to their feet, but Matijs Cremers was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Fredrik Meeuwissen breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Giannis Ioannidis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Leo Verdun during the 96th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. When the match was over FC Zandvoorde could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than FC Flat Beat throughout the match.
