Nico Van Meerbek made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Geert-Jan Coomans in the 22nd minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Otis Vandamme during the 24th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Lions United booed when Brakkies New Bastards was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Otis Vandamme didn't get a good kick on the ball.
