With a couple of smart ball manuevers Erling Gentenaar in the 31st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Nico Van Meerbek saved Brakkies New Bastards from getting behind. Erling Gentenaar struck a weak shot in the 33rd minute. Nico Van Meerbek didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Three Towers United. 36 minutes into the match, Three Towers United's goal looked a bit too open when Daniel Reijniers came free, but Dida Gentenaar reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Daniel Reijniers received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Dida Gentenaar came out and tried to block the shot, but Daniel Reijniers slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 40th minute. Three Towers United's Dida Gentenaar proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 43rd minute of the match, managed to save Three Towers United from getting a goal against them. The audience thought a goal was coming when Freddy de Cijser got free with Dida Gentenaar in the 45th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

51 minutes into the match, Three Towers United's Erling Gentenaar sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Nico Van Meerbek narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 55 minutes into the match, Kirk Powderham had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Dida Gentenaar. Three Towers United's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Kirk Powderham was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. When Brakkies New Bastards's Daniel Reijniers in the 61st minute got a chance for a shot 61st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. After a defensive mix-up in Three Towers United's zone, Kirk Powderham stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dida Gentenaar came out of the goal and Kirk Powderham tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Robben Kints in the 79th minute of play forced Three Towers United's goalkeeper Dida Gentenaar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Erling Gentenaar might have been able to make a better finish in the 80th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Nico Van Meerbek. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Erling Gentenaar ran back to his position shaking his head. Nico Van Meerbek made a fantastic save in the 80th minute, when Erling Gentenaar sent off a good shot on target. Dida Gentenaar showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Freddy de Cijser in the 82nd minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Erling Gentenaar in the 87th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Nico Van Meerbek saved Brakkies New Bastards from getting behind. Daniel Reijniers took the ball and in the 89 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Dida Gentenaar. Dida Gentenaar dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Daniel Reijniers in the 94th minute of play forced Three Towers United's goalkeeper Dida Gentenaar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Robben Kints had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Brakkies New Bastards had played much better football throughout.
