But to his dismay, Erling Gentenaar quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. 24 minutes had been played when some careless play by Three Towers United's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Richy Valkeneers was slow to take the kick. During this time Decathlon Anderlecht's players had a chance to rest. 28 minutes into the game, Mattijs Klaes cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Dida Gentenaar was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Dida Gentenaar showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mattijs Klaes in the 36th minute of the match. Dida Gentenaar took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mattijs Klaes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Dida Gentenaar was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Senne Suetens showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 3-1 in the 46 minute of play. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Erling Gentenaar to strike the kick off in the second half. Senne Suetens struck a weak shot in the 55th minute. Dida Gentenaar didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Decathlon Anderlecht. When Gregoire Humblets came up free with the goalie in the 57th minute, the Decathlon Anderlecht fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gregoire Humblets couldn't finish the play. Dida Gentenaar showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jesse Petermans, who was totally free with the ball in the 71st minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gregoire Humblets in the 76th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Dida Gentenaar prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Mattijs Klaes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. Dida Gentenaar tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ciro Lira made a fantastic save in the 84th minute, when Erling Gentenaar sent off a good shot on target. If Alaba Gentenaar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Decathlon Anderlecht walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
