Spectators: 8446 (Terracing: 6336, Seating: 1942, VIP seats: 168) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Sean Mallecots made the kick off which started today's match. A throw-in in the 2nd minute of the game was made by Jacques Van der Veeren with Jullian Vranx as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. Sean Mallecots recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 15th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 16th minute, Frans Henderickx hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Bruly's Willy Van Linthout played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sean Mallecots in the 20th minute of play. Eddy Stoorms made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jullian Vranx in the 21st minute. An unexpected shot in the 28th minute by Jullian Vranx got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. In the 29th minute of the game Jacques Van der Veeren made a throw-in which Thomas Lanen played forward. Willy Van Linthout made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sean Mallecots in the 36th minute of play. In the 36th minute, Sean Mallecots made a precise shot to the right of Willy Van Linthout. Bruly's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-3. A collision led to Bruly getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Javier Van Landschoot hit a great ball. After 46 played minutes, Invictus FC's Ron Aelgoet shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Willy Van Linthout came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Invictus FC reached it. Disappointed in the 2-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

After 55 played minutes Bruly got a freekick which was hit by Thomas Lanen. Willy Van Linthout stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Sean Mallecots's shot from short distance in the 59th minute. Jullian Vranx scored 3-3 in the 66th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Eddy Stoorms, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The audience was convinced that Sean Mallecots's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Willy Van Linthout was relentless in the 74th minute of the game. When Jullian Vranx came up free with the goalie in the 90th minute, the Bruly fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jullian Vranx couldn't finish the play. 92 minutes into the match, Bruly's goal looked a bit too open when Sean Mallecots came free, but Willy Van Linthout reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
