An unexpectedly hard shot by Paulus Van Hove in the 3rd minute of play forced Circus BAF's goalkeeper Amador Paublo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Lou Wegers was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Wu Sang Yi showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 5 minute of play. In the 10th minute of the match Abubakar Al Abdullah shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Lou Wegers showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. 12 minutes into the match, Circus BAF's goal looked a bit too open when Aurelian Barboni came free, but Amador Paublo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Amador Paublo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Paulus Van Hove, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. Lou Wegers made an important save on a dangerous shot by Wu Sang Yi in the 18th minute. When Daan Vos fell near the penalty area in the 20th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored de belletrekkers's protests and gave Daan Vos a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Circus BAF booed when de belletrekkers was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Daan Vos didn't get a good kick on the ball. Wu Sang Yi could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 25th minute of the match, but Lou Wegers made a huge save. Circus BAF's Amador Paublo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ignace Vermeulen in the 26th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Paulus Van Hove in the 33rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Amador Paublo saved Circus BAF from getting behind. When de belletrekkers's Ignace Vermeulen in the 37th minute got a chance for a shot 37th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Circus BAF's goalie prevented a goal. Lautaro Martínez Gullotta recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 40th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Ignace Vermeulen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 46th minute, Mattias Van Elsen hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Paulus Van Hove made the kick off in the second half. In the 55th match minute, de belletrekkers was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Paulus Van Hove to maneuver through the defense. Lautaro Martínez Gullotta charged in rather forcefully in the 58th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down.
