Pieter-Maarten Demeulemeester was out of position in the 11 minute of play, and Rik Winnepennincks capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Rik Winnepennincks really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. Tomé De Roeulx scored 2-0 in the 14th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Pieter-Maarten Demeulemeester, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. LeRoeulx's Jabbar De Roeulx was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 21st play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. 25 minutes into the match, LeRoeulx's goal looked a bit too open when Aksel Hope came free, but Teun Verbraecken reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With an all-out effort, LeRoeulx's Pieter-Maarten Demeulemeester threw himself towards the right post 32 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Jabbar De Roeulx, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. In the 35th minute, Rani Boys's Dogo De Hond seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Dogo De Hond the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Rani Boys protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Dogo De Hond had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. After a rather tough play, Rani Boys's Dogo De Hond got a free kick in the 35th minute. Pieter-Maarten Demeulemeester was a little too slow when Louis Van Campenhout got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 36th minute. The score was now 4-1. Jabbar De Roeulx's late challenge caught a Rani Boys's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jabbar De Roeulx helped the player get up and apologised. Jabbar De Roeulx kicked well hit freekick during the 44th minute of the match. Af the end of the first half the score was 4-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

After having played for 80 minutes, Rik Winnepennincks managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal.
