After a rather tough play, Dalmore's Cederic Van Hecke got a free kick in the 7th minute. When Abel Van Den Wijngaert came up free with the goalie in the 8th minute, the KV Schoonwater fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Abel Van Den Wijngaert couldn't finish the play. 12 minutes into the match, Dalmore's Joseph De Coster sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Henk Jonckers narrowly saved just below the crossbar. When Cederic Van Hecke fell near the penalty area in the 13th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Dalmore's protests and gave Cederic Van Hecke a yellow card for diving instead. In the 14th match minute, Dalmore was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cederic Van Hecke to maneuver through the defense. Hubert Versluys made an important save on a dangerous shot by Pino Van Hinnendaels in the 14th minute. Hubert Versluys showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sem Roekeloos in the 17th minute of the match. In the 21st match minute, Dalmore was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Geoffry Van Laeck to maneuver through the defense. Henk Jonckers was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. 33 minutes into the game, Abel Van Den Wijngaert recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Hubert Versluys. Abel Van Den Wijngaert showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-1. Nicky Uijtterhoeven kicked well hit freekick during the 35th minute of the match. In the 38th minute Alek De Hondt shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hubert Versluys saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Joachim Wiggers received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Hubert Versluys came out and tried to block the shot, but Joachim Wiggers slotted it home off the left post making it 3-1 in the 43rd minute. Hubert Versluys took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alek De Hondt, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Hubert Versluys showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alek De Hondt, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute.

The wind increased when Pino Van Hinnendaels made the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Abel Van Den Wijngaert in the 51st minute of play forced Dalmore's goalkeeper Hubert Versluys to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. KV Schoonwater's Henk Jonckers proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 52nd minute of the match, managed to save KV Schoonwater from getting a goal against them. KV Schoonwater's Henk Jonckers played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tomas Huijbrechs in the 55th minute of play. 56 minutes into the match, Abel Van Den Wijngaert had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Hubert Versluys. Dalmore's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Abel Van Den Wijngaert was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-2. In the 59th minute, Alek De Hondt made a precise shot to the right of Hubert Versluys. Dalmore's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 5-2. Abel Van Den Wijngaert scored 6-2 in the 65th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Hubert Versluys, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. When the match had gone on for 69 minutes, Dre Teunis took a quick shot and it went in 6-3 without a chance for Henk Jonckers to make any attempt to save it. In the 73rd minute, Alek De Hondt ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Hubert Versluys was frozen by the shot and now it was 7-3. A collision led to Dalmore getting a freekick after 77 minutes play. Jason Van den Berchen hit a great ball. Hubert Versluys showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alek De Hondt in the 79th minute of the match. 80 minutes into the game, KV Schoonwater's Pino Van Hinnendaels nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Hubert Versluys made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 8-3. 83 minutes into the game, Stef Salms was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Dalmore's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave KV Schoonwater the free kick. KV Schoonwater's Refael De Boeck was substituted for Andris Smolders. The supporters of KV Schoonwater booed when Dalmore was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 84 match minutes in a wonderful position. Stef Salms didn't get a good kick on the ball. 86 minutes into the match, Alek De Hondt notched a goal, 9-3, to the right of Dalmore's Hubert Versluys. Hubert Versluys was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. KV Schoonwater's Sven-Edvin Viklund was substituted for Frederick Demeester. Hubert Versluys made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alek De Hondt in the 90th minute of play.
