Matty Vandenbosch was slow to take the kick. During this time Geetsvondel²'s players had a chance to rest. Geetsvondel²'s Matty Vandenbosch was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Kent Gressens in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Matty Vandenbosch's long shot made the audience stand up and applaude when it rumbled by Kent Gressens on his right side and into the goal. 7 minutes into the game it was 0-1. Reinard Vervaecks short, quick shot in the 12thth minute got Dominic Huyghens to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. The audience thought a goal was coming when Reinard Vervaeck got free with Dominic Huyghens in the 14th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 18 minutes into the match, Geetsvondel²'s goal looked a bit too open when Lennert Hombroeckx came free, but Dominic Huyghens reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 19 minutes into the match, Sapitos's goal looked a bit too open when Robbrecht Colebinders came free, but Kent Gressens reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Sapitos's Vladimiro Sasoin in the 24th minute got a chance for a shot 24th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. After 37 played minutes Sapitos got a freekick which was hit by Lennert Hombroeckx. Robbrecht Colebinders sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 42 minutes into the game, Lennert Hombroeckx was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Sapitos's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Geetsvondel² the free kick. After 45 minutes, Matias Oyen made it 1-3 with a short kick to the right side. Sapitos's Kent Gressens tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Disappointed in the 1-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Robbrecht Colebinders to make the kick off. Dominic Huyghens showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lennert Hombroeckx, who was totally free with the ball in the 50th minute. Sapitos were awarded a corner in the 51th minute after Geetsvondel²'s defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Klaus Kindts took the corner. Sapitos's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Robbrecht Colebinders 53 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-4. 65 minutes into the game, Geetsvondel²'s Matias Oyen nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Kent Gressens made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-5. Dominic Huyghens didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Vladimiro Sasoin went, in the 69th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-5 was the resulting score. Robbrecht Colebinderss short, quick shot in the 73rdth minute got Kent Gressens to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 75th minute, Reinard Vervaeck made a precise shot to the right of Dominic Huyghens. Geetsvondel²'s defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-5. Through an outstanding action, after 83 minutes, Kent Gressens successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Kent Gressens took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Robbrecht Colebinders, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Kent Gressens didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Robbrecht Colebinders went, in the 89th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-6 was the resulting score. 92 minutes into the game, Matias Oyen recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Kent Gressens. Matias Oyen showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 3-7. The Sapitos supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Geetsvondel²'s performance. The match ended with a win for Geetsvondel².
