Spectators: 8476 (Terracing: 6358, Seating: 1949, VIP seats: 169) Geetsvondel²'s Matias Oyen started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. An unexpectedly hard shot by Robbrecht Colebinders in the 2nd minute of play forced VC zoetwater's goalkeeper Gong Ying Zheng to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 4th minute, Geetsvondel²'s Matias Oyen ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Gong Ying Zheng. Gong Ying Zheng yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. Gong Ying Zheng made a fantastic save in the 7th minute, when Boudewijn Nelis sent off a good shot on target. Boudewijn Nelis succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 2-0 in the 12th playminute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Robbrecht Colebinders in the 16th minute of play forced VC zoetwater's goalkeeper Gong Ying Zheng to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 17 minutes into the match, Ive Volckaerts notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of Geetsvondel²'s Dominic Huyghens. Dominic Huyghens was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 22nd minute Geetsvondel² were awarded a corner. Matty Vandenbosch went to the cornerflag to take it. In the 24thth minute of the game Ive Volckaerts who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Geetsvondel²'s Dominic Huyghens was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 28 minutes into the match, VC zoetwater's goalkeeper Gong Ying Zheng had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Matias Oyen. In the 30th match minute, VC zoetwater was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tom Van der Veeken to maneuver through the defense. Matias Oyen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Dominic Huyghens stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ive Volckaerts's shot from short distance in the 33rd minute. Matty Vandenbosch hit a great freekick 37 minutes into the match. Kristen Van Den Eijnde kicked well hit freekick during the 38th minute of the match. Geetsvondel²'s Dominic Huyghens played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joonatan Netels in the 39th minute of play. VC zoetwater were awarded a corner in the 40th minute after Geetsvondel²'s defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Ive Volckaerts took the corner. In the 44th minute, Robbrecht Colebinders left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Geetsvondel² fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-1. Robbrecht Colebinders came free with the goalkeeper in the 47th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Gong Ying Zheng could save by the left post. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ive Volckaerts was the one to do the kick off. VC zoetwater were awarded a corner in the 52th minute after Geetsvondel²'s defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Ive Volckaerts took the corner. Matias Oyen's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Gong Ying Zheng read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 54th minute of play. VC zoetwater's Gong Ying Zheng played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Robbrecht Colebinders in the 59th minute of play. Gong Ying Zheng came out of the goal in the 60th minute to try and stop a shot by Geetsvondel²'s Matias Oyen. But to his dismay, Matias Oyen quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-1. In the 63rd minute, Matias Oyen got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Gusztáv Bács had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Matias Oyen scored 5-1 in the 68th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Gong Ying Zheng, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Gong Ying Zheng showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Matias Oyen, who was totally free with the ball in the 72nd minute. 76 minutes into the match, VC zoetwater's goal looked a bit too open when Robbrecht Colebinders came free, but Gong Ying Zheng reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in VC zoetwater's zone, Matias Oyen stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gong Ying Zheng came out of the goal and Matias Oyen tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Geetsvondel²'s Matias Oyen got a good chance for a goal in the 89th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Bernardo Sharkin kicked well hit freekick during the 91st minute of the match. Gong Ying Zheng showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Matias Oyen, who was totally free with the ball in the 92nd minute. When Joonatan Netels came up free with the goalie in the 94th minute, the VC zoetwater fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Joonatan Netels couldn't finish the play.
